Lagrand Interiors was asked to design the interior of this spacious penthouse in a luxury neighbourhood in Rotterdam.
For the residents it felt like coming home from the very first instant because of the warm, personal and unique look. The result of the design is a subtle balance between attention to the view and privacy.
Natural materials, such as several kinds of natural stone and walnut wood combined with warm fabrics and wall coverings were used, inspired by the view from the penthouse apartment. To keep the openness in the floor plan, Lagrand Interiors implemented different types of transparent lighting fixtures and placed a glass floor panel in one of the bedrooms to connect the ground and first floor of the penthouse.
