For this newbuilt villa we got to work with owner himself: a project developer who built his own house. We were involved in every decision from the start. The house is completely CO2-neutral and is powered by solar energy, stored in Tesla Powerwall batteries. On the premises you also find a tennis court, a jacuzzi and an outhouse with a cinema. In the living room one of the special features is the sunken wine cellar that is visible through a glass hatch in the floor. We designed all the custom furniture and finishing; we dressed architectural beams in wood to match the interior works. The luxury hotel feeling was the common thread in this project, and it shows a.o. things in the custom designed washbasin in the bathroom, with a built-in laundry basket for towels. The property was delivered turnkey, including vases, soap dispensers and other small details.
